In a few words
Indiana native living in Los Angeles.
Loving father and husband.
Actor, writer, musician.
Twice diagnosed cancer survivor.
In my early twenties I enjoyed competing for acting roles in film and tv while investing in developmental training in both craft and life. That work compelled me to immerse myself into Jungian and existential psychology. This unique combination of studies opened me to a radical understanding of character, motivation, and human beingness. It planted the seed for coaching work and prepared me at the age of 27 to face my first cancer diagnosis with consciousness, strength, and vulnerability.
I continued to enrich and expand my artistic endeavors writing fiction, penning poetry, and writing non fiction as well. I then served as an admissions counselor for Georgetown University’s graduate school. I also had the profound pleasure of becoming a father.
In 2023, I graduated from Pacifica Graduate Institute where I was a Master’s student of counseling in depth psychology. I trained as a psychotherapist in Los Angeles and published a thesis that examined archetypal dynamics of depression and creative writing as a therapeutic intervention.
Synthesizing my unique training and encounters with life has resulted in Soul Service. It is my purpose in service to community.
While I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, this coaching service is not therapy. See FAQ’s for more information.

Personal coaching is a professional alliance between the client and coach. My approach delves into self-discovery and personal development through depth-psychologically informed inquiry. My aim is to support and empower clients in multiple areas of life as they grow to align with deepest values and aspirations.
The focus of our work is based on the client's goals, which may evolve over time. Coaching does not operate in the medical model or fall under the purview of mental health services; therefore, coaching is not a substitute for therapy or medical treatment.

Coaching is distinguished from therapy in its departure from the medical framework. As a coach, I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. While difficult emotion and psychological states are vital areas of focus in coaching as pertained to goal formation, identity, and meaning-making, I do not isolate and treat the symptom as I would in psychotherapy.
If you are experiencing debilitating emotional distress, suicidal ideation, or are otherwise concerned about a mental health condition, I encourage you to seek a mental health professional elsewhere.
I work as a therapist exclusively at a non-profit in Los Angeles.
